New Moon in Capricorn 2025

All I can say is… don't expect 2025 to start gently!

This new moon is in ambitious, persistent, get-shit-done Capricorn on the 30th of December and it’s the perfect time to set intentions around restructuring your life, career and life goals for this coming year.

Right from the get-go, Pluto and Mars will be in an exact opposition which will no doubt bring drama, action and power exchanges. Seeking revenge and initiating conflict is not likely to end particularly well, however, there will also be stories out there of exceptional bravery and it is great energy for extra needed confidence or forcing an issue that was hiding in the shadows out into the open.

At the same time, Venus will enter Pisces so surges of compassion are likely and it could be a highly emotional time – and that's before we've even got to the full moon on the 13th in the most emotional sign in the zodiac... Cancer! More on this family-orientated and healing full moon at a later date.

The nodes (our destiny and spiritual path) will shift into Virgo (south node) and Pisces (north node) on the 12th of January and will stay there for the next 18th months. Health, trusting our own inner guidance and soul-level healing will be huge collective themes during this time and it will encourage us to get into the flow more and relinquish the need for control.

The end of January isn’t likely to be quiet either as the energy of Aquarius takes centre stage and Uranus stations direct. Expect increased rebellion, standing up for those who don't have a voice no matter what the consequences, quiet seeds of change could suddenly blossom and seismic events/power outages are very possible at this time.
