New Moon in Sagittarius and December Forecast
Somehow we're nearly in December here's what the last dance of 2024 has in store for us...
The 1st of December is the new moon in Sagittarius and is the sign of many things, but it’s mostly associated with long-term goals, long-distance travel and higher learning. This free-spirited energy lives to have fun and it’s also ruled by Jupiter the planet of abundance and expansion so don't forget to set an intention and shoot for the stars!
Venus is in a square with Chiron right now. This may be being experienced by some as painful reality checks, old wounds relating to self-worth and money or revealing relationship issues you were previously unaware of. This aspect will be moving on in the coming days.
OK, so Mercury in retrograde is here but come the 6th of December when Mars also joins the retrograde party it will hit with full force! Mars goes retrograde every two years and this time these planets are doing it together for a full 10 days. This period is likely to be like taking one step forward, three steps back but it won't last forever! If Mercury retrograde has been good for you so far (the past week) this period is likely to bring more of the same. If you're Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, Leo or Aries – you guys will feel it the most. Mercury is in an opposition with Jupiter this month, so expect very strong opposing opinions out there!
Mercury then goes direct on the 16th and the week of the run-up to Christmas is looking good, with some nice aspects in the sky, especially around the 20th. This would be a good day to get together with your mates and have some fun!
Mars will stay retrograde until February… so expect things like going over past actions, old frustrations rearing up and feeling the consequences of past actions etc etc – this will obviously be a very different experience for everybody. It will also be coming back into that intense opposition with Pluto – let's just say expect more dramatic and explosive turns of events and stand offs in the world over the coming months.
A decision which you've been toing and froing on since around the 18th of November will come to its conclusion in the last week of December and a theme running throughout the month is delegate, delegate, delegate! my advice? Take the offer of help! Teamwork really does make the dreamwork, don't take it all on yourself and go into overwhelm.
