This 4-week course will give you a good understanding of astrology using your own unique natal chart. We’ll cover the houses, elements, modalities, lunar nodes, planets, aspects and aspect patterns.

This course will give you an understanding of astrology and your birth chart (also called a natal chart or astrological chart). A chart is a snapshot of the sky from the moment you were born with your birth time, date, and location at the centre. It looks like a wheel divided into twelve sections, and shows the positions of the planets within the astrological houses and signs based on where you were born. It highlights your strengths, and weaknesses, and offers information about things like love, career, family life, life purpose, and more.

Your birth chart is also always changing and getting activated in various ways by constantly transiting planets. For instance, when the sun enters a new sign, it’s also lighting up a new part of your birth chart, thereby highlighting new topics and themes. Likewise, when the famed Mercury retrograde happens, it’s moving through a specific part of your birth chart. Transits impact us collectively and individually.

The Itinerary

Week 1 - introducing the birth chart, angles, houses, the big three, modalities and elements. 

Week 2 - personal planets and generational planets. 

Week 3 - aspects and aspect patterns, looking at famous people's charts as examples. 

Week 4 - the nodes, black moon lilith and putting it all together. Introducing transits.
